Today – the 19th Mars 2026 – we are celebrating 25 year from we got our Breeder name.

There have been some periods in the start and in the last years we have been more active, and some periods when our first breeder cats were old and neutered and we were to busy doing other activities 😻 Still it is nice to know that thanks to a lot of breeders our first breeding female is laying behind all of our cats today – luckily a lot of generations behind – there are not inbreeding problems here.

A tribute to our frist breeding female: IC Albertine av Boxerhaven (N)

She did great at the few shows we went on. She gave us the first Ekebergtrollet´s litter; 3 kittens, and all of them got BIS in different shows as kittens, and when all of them went at the same show, the litter got best litter in category 2. Later we tried breeding class, and there she won best breeding female.

Maiken and I went to Vårgårda 13th – 15th Februar, bringing Knockout and Myra for a show-weekend. The results was more than expected and we could drive home with a new Grand International Champion and a Kitten Champion – and both of them were nominated for the best in show panel. Knockout even got a vote in a very strong panel and also got BIV-total both days.
Rebekka, Therese and I were all three crew on this show – we are all from Østfoldkatten😁

We have 3 males, and all of them have been in some shows this year – two of them a lot more than our kastrat😻 But GIP IC (N) Fodnaheia´s Tarik did very well on the NSR´s 50 year’s anniversary 😻

SC (N) Ekebergtrollet’s Glenn Miller DVM DSM ❤️ in 2025: 6 BIS at FIFe shows +BIS & BOB1 and Norsk Skogkattmester 2025 on a NFO-breed show – several NOMs and BIV and this year he os the 3th best male in category 2 in NRR and the best adult fertile NFO in NRR🏆

NW24 IC KCH S*Little L´s Knockout JW ❤️ As junior he only got 3 shows (very little shows in the winter close to us…) – Knockout got an Ex2 in Sweden (we only went Sunday) – but on NORAK he got 2 BIS as a junior, but no JCH title😅 In his first show as an adult he got NOM and voice in the panel. Totally he got 5 NOM in 2025 and we had fun at RORAK Saturday when Glenn got 3 and Knockout 2 of the 5 judges voices. He got one BIV in 2025 – it has been some beautiful cats in color group III this year ❤️😻❤️ He has got the championtitle and even International Champion, and has already 5 CAGCIB on his way to Grand international champion (GIC)🏆🎉

GIP IC (N) Fodnaheia ´s Tarik ❤️ he was only at one show: Norsk Skogkattmesterskap and got an Ex2 – the competition was strong, but he showed himself very well❣️ So proud of him🤩🥰

In 2025 we have had two litter and the mothers Fife Feliz and Juni had to be home most of the time, but they went on a few shows in the end of the year and got their CACS and even NOM for Best in Show both of them😻 Myra went on her first show one day at Adelkattens Christmas-show. She got her CACC and was nr 2 of 3 very strong kittens in nomination. She got great judgement from Anne Veland, who also explained a lot of the rules for Myra ´s hostmum❤️

The plan was to mate Spurv a last time the spring 2025, but sometimes plans does not go as expected 😉🫣 So she went on some shows with us; Lirak in April (her first as a senior), VKK in Bergen and Polarkatten in Mo i Rana. On the last show she got best senior – before that she got nominated four times as the best senior female😻 She got the prize «judge heart NFO» at Lirak. She also got nominated for best fertile female adult at LIRAK, VKK and Polarkatten with voices in panel (even lost one BIS by lottery🙃) She is more than 7 years old and still fighting in the top😻

SC Ekebergtrollet´s Glenn Miller DVM got BIV in gr VII, NOM and BIS Male and after that BOB – Skogkattmester 2025. He also got Best breeding male and Ekebergtrollet´s got best breeder on the 50-years jubilee show.

Our M-litter after Juni and Knockout was born Monday 16th of Juni – there are 3 big and beautiful kittens in the litter, 2 boys and 1 dark girl 💙❤️💙

This was the first show for Spurv as a senior and Knockout as an adult and this went very well😻🤩❤️

All of them got nominated to the Best in show panel and got voices in the panel.

Our male SC Ekebergtrollet’s Glenn Miller DVM is the father of this litter – there are 6 kittens and only two kittens available at the moment:

They have got their first vaccine and health check- everything was fine and they have got their IDchip and are registered in NRR with their pedegree ❤️😻They have also got their own home-knitted bed from Pernille❤️😻❤️

The best time to take this pictures is after a long playtime and they are finding places to sleep – and this time they where very tired, but so funny😂
